Outland was OK in the 90s, and I wasn't a big fan of the Sundays-only Opus stuff he did the last decade, but since he went non-syndicated and resurrected BC, he's doing his best work since the 80s. It's an amazing comeback.

His first group of Sherlock Holmes stories were terrific. The second batch (after he got bored with the Holmes character and killed him) were not quite up to par.
But yeah, Breathed seems to have come back in fine form.
