"Happy Meals"?

Talk about weird messaging: In the mail, on the back of an envelope there’s the message, in red letters, “Free McDonald’s Gift Certificate for Senior Citizens”; not someplace I frequent these days, but I opened the thing thinking somebody might be able to use it.

Inside, instead of the expected certificate, it’s a card to be filled out and mailed back, and once they receive it they’ll send the certificate. So what are they selling? Funeral planning.

So much for Happy Meals!
