As you probably know, Hope For Paws was selected to be among the finalists in an online contest by Toyota which gives us the opportunity to win a brand new rescue vehicle (Toyota Highlander).
Today, May 19th, is the only day to vote, and help Hope For Paws win this amazing donation!
I am sure you have seen many of our rescue videos (the most recent one was of Fiona, the blind dog ), and so you can see time after time how critical is the car to us.
As the hot summer months approach us here in California, and as our current rescue mobile is getting up there in miles and age - we need a new reliable car. Imagine being stuck in the middle of the desert with 3 rescued dogs, and in an area with no cell reception (scary).
Your time to vote is now, so please visit the competition's website, and vote for Hope For Paws: http://www.100carsforgood.com
Just to be safe, I will add a step-by-step guide:
1. Click on GO VOTE
2. Click on HOPE FOR PAWS
3. Click on VOTE.
4. Click on CONFIRM
5. Click on the FACEBOOK / TWITTER link, and ask your friends to vote for us too.
Please note - only people living in the U.S can vote in this competition. If you live anywhere else (or currently traveling), please ask your friends on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media network you use to vote for us by visiting our website: http://www.hopeforpaws.org - this way they can learn about our efforts, and they will have a link to vote as well.
We only have a 14 hour window to win this thing for the animals.
Please take a moment to vote now, and once you're done, if you have another second, please let me know how are we doing on my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/hopeforpawscalifornia (there is no way for me to see the results)
Thank you so much!!!

I just loved that story of Fiona..... Poor thing. I am so glad it came to a good end.
