17. This will be shared by many and seen by millions.

It's the one thing I appreciate about facebook. Good ideas go viral, very quickly.

It seems like it is changing our culture.

19. "Some men you just can't reach." is starting to look like a

very accurate analysis of the Republican party.

12. What a guy!

My m-in-law was a pediatric oncology nurse for a major hospital in Boston. The nurses would volunteer to work at the Hole in the Wall camp in CT that Paul Newman sponsored for child cancer victims.

She said the camp was as much for the parents as the kids, as it gave them a respite, knowing their kids were having fun and well-cared for. A friend who had a child (age 2) with cancer told me that 70% of parents divorced when a child developed cancer, and it was over 90% if the child died.

Not to be a bummer, but can there be any better use of your salad dressing profits than to Newman's Own?

14. I chose to believe if there is a God that Paul sits at the right hand side of him shooting the

breeze. What an icon he was. He still lives on in all the good things he left for generations. Plus great movies. He really is sorely missed.

He always walked the walk in both his professional and private life.

She loved him, I love him, my 28 year old daughter loves him, and so does my just turned 11 year old daughter. Cool Hand Luke is a must see weekend favorite. Love Paul

21. He's as smart, generous and nice as he is good looking. My niece used to

manage a little tiny store in upper Manhattan and Paul Newman used to come in looking for Ralph Lauren items for his wife. She said he was so natural, casual and unassuming...a hunk! He came in a lot and remembered her name. She was so thrilled and felt like collapsing after he left!
