The Sea of Cortez (gulf of Ca.) is full of fishing boats with those nets.

Countless animals are killed or injured in various nets. Many nets are just floating in the ocean and are no longer used by fisheries (called Ghost nets).

Removing those nets SHOULD be part of the factor of production for harvesting fish, but it's not of course.

She was obviously in distress and she allowed them to free her from the net without struggling.

There is a similar dolphin video where the dolphin has fishing line tangled all around it's fins and a diver is trying to get the line off the dolphin. The dolphin just hangs there letting the diver do work...the animal KNOWS it is being helped. I know these are very smart mammals, but THIS ability to "perceive" is amazing.
