On the Nov Election.

Talking heads are talking of a status election. That would be the best case, and two more years of highly disfunctional government.

That's possible, but the GOP keeps getting more and more radical. If we get a wave election, and given some candidates Te GOP is running for Senate I can foresee Dems taking seats. The House, keep this up Speaker Boehner. And at that point the Radical right will be all but happy.

Regardless, this is not a normal election in any way. We are in a very dangerous era.

1. Interesting

What do you think will happen if Romney loses? Will the GOP response be: After losses with Romney and McCain we need more extreme candidates.
Will a Romney win silence the extreme elements of the GOP?

2. That be the effect if Santorum was the candidate.

Palin said it the other day...Romney is not conservative enough.

If this is a 1964 blowout, won't be pretty.

5. Absolutely...

I expect it almost, either way. I mean this is not just a democrat, socialist commie fascist...he has a darker melanin content. I wish I were kidding.

6. (D)s should be running against the Republican party as a whole.

We need to point out that the country was strongest while New Deal economic policies were in place and while Democrats had a majority in The House for 40 years straight (where the purse strings are held).

The (R)s have sold some nostalgic idea of what the nation was like back in the good old days when they were in charge. The problem here is that the good old days were when we were in charge and the decline in our country has coincided with the new rise of the Republicans since the Reagan and Gingrich era.

Usurping their message and making it our own really should be the focus. A "Big Picture" approach to this election just might be the best thing in the long run. The (R)s need to be put back in their place so we can get back to improving things again.
