(31,464 posts)Still pushing 2.70 and more in most places. Good thing New England states are so small...we just drive to Massachusetts to fill up. An imaginary line in the ground makes gas almost 40 cents cheaper there.

They are banking on the perceived value scam that works every time .

(4,748 posts)Long tradition by oil companies to get as big a slice of the tourist dollar while getting is good. Of course the rest of the tourist "industry" has to make do with a smaller slice.
