...to think of just how many other women have been victimized by Cosby and other powerful men.

It's pathetic that there are statutes of limitations on rape and that Cosby will likely never see prison time. I'm glad that at least being a rapist is the only thing he'll ever be remembered for. At least there's that.

I hope these brave women give comfort to one another and to other victims to know that they are not alone.

In the mid 70's it was well known as a place to purchase heroin, pills, and prostitutes. The rent was cheap, and nobody bothered me, so I called it home for about a year.

One day there was excitement in the building. It turns out that Bill Cosby paid a visit there. Quaaludes were popular then. Not sure if that was sold there, or if that was what he was looking to purchase. I don't think he was there for the hookers because they slept late. Maybe he was there to see some members of the MC5 or the Fruit.

There were a couple Detroit women that were victimized, but not sure of the timeline.

I lived in the basement apt to the left of the entrance. I used to sit on the window sill above the front door.

It's actually a pretty cool looking place. I'm guessing it's an 19th century building? Sucks that it went downhill. It's exactly the kind of place I fantasize about buying and fixing up (I know, "location, location, location&quot .

How many rape victims had to come forward before they finally condemned a celebrity predator?

Imagine how much courage it takes to publicly accuse a man like Cosby of rape.

He's America's favourite father...who would believe you?

And the standard responses were Liar-Liar-Liar and Crazy-Crazy-Crazy. I'm not sure which was worse. Then around the turn of the century, men spoke out about their abuse by priests. I never heard anyone call them liars or crazy, which made me burn, though I feel and felt much compassion for the victims.

So seeing a photo spread of rape survivors--be sure to look at the individual photos of them in white at the link--is indeed powerful. I never thought I'd see something like that in my lifetime.

As usual, avoid the comments, because the standard responses are not dead.
