Apple Watch outselling iPhone and iPad launch numbers.

Sales peaking weeks after online only sales, once it was available in stores. Apple expects Apple Watch to be the Christmas present of the season, and is ramping up production to meet demands.

Those who fell for the 'MarketWatch' tale of dire sales, fell for it for sure.

Combined with 56-percent sequential growth in revenue for Apple's "Other Products" category — which includes the Apple Watch along with the iPod and Apple TV — Maestri's comment suggests that Watch sales have been better than many expected.

Even with 'only' 3 million units sold (in 9 weeks), the Apple Watch is easily the best-selling smartwatch yet and has quickly put a chokehold on the market. Rival smartwatch makers are thought to have shipped just over 4 million devices in all of 2014.

Most of the people I know aren't sure where they'll be living at in a month.

it is an accessory to the iPhone, not a separate device.
Silly thing really, bought for status.
