Good day to be a Progressive. Good day to be human being.
The symbols of racism are, literally, are coming down. A black man has become President of the United States, TWICE, in landside elections, that left no doubts about the will of the people. Flags, that are symbols of traitors and systemic racism, are coming down from hold-out states government offices.
The ACA, that has brought health security to millions, is now safe and will likely expand and grow and hopefully become the universal healthcare system it should have always been.
We now have canidates like HRC and Brenie, unthinkable 30 years ago, running for POTUS. Not just running though. They are the only serious contenders. The best the gOP has to offer are narrow-minded, self-egrandising, racist who pitch the same party lines from 30 years ago. There speaking to an audience that, for the most part, doesn't exist anymore.
Lastly, most importantly, THIS IS THE FIRST STEP OF THIS JOURNEY, NOT THE LAST.
Take time love, laugh and smile. Then get your ass back to work for a true liberal and Democratic nation.
