PBS NewsHour-Will your job get outsourced to a robot?

Don't about everyone else, but with what Gov. Doug Ducey: AZ-R is doing to us ( http://news.yahoo.com/facing-1-billion-deficit-arizona-sharply-limits-welfare-202816912.html and http://tucson.com/news/business/ducey-budget-cut-hits-education-local-governments-drivers/article_25ca024e-7cbd-5e78-ace1-cfdb99e7418c.html ) this is a spooky story!

It's not just basic tasks anymore: Computers can now do work once deemed possible only by humans. And in some cases, the computers are doing it better. In an economy driven increasingly by intelligent automation, which jobs will survive? Hari Sreenivasan reports.

Going into a restaurant and ordering from an iPad the first time was strange and I missed the human contact, but now that every order has been perfect, I like it a lot. We will adapt to change as it comes a long as we have always done before. We are afraid of change but once we embrace it, we love it typically.

They are incredible. My housecleaner loves it. She laments about those that don't have one. Well guess what she still has a job. The auto vacuum did not replace her salary. Before you call me a rich guy. Nope she only comes once a week because I don't want to clean myself so you are free to call me lazy.

that cut the education and the safety nets people need why they try to get the education they need for these new fields that I worry about. Not so much getting use to the tech. I am a geek from way back!

I'd sign up for cyber security. Future employees need to go into professions that are in demand and not major in sociology or criminal justice. Too many are graduating with useless degrees with a ton of debt. Now if you continue on with those degrees that's different but if that is where you end. I'm not surprised that you work in a car lot or a retail store. Decisions are important when starting out.
