"The wheels of justice grind exceedingly slow."

"Mills of the Gods,
Grind exceedingly slow,
But grind exceedingly fine..."
~Euripides (485-406 BC)

In the big picture, what is happening in Baltimore should not be criticized, but rather, celebrated.

A young, black, woman official has filed criminal charges against 6 cops within the Baltimore justice system. This is not only unprecedented but could not even have been imagined in the 1960's.

The uprising and the one-night burning and looting is only a small footnote to this story. It is much bigger than that.

For the first time ever, the black people of this country see the possibility of justice with the culture of police brutality. Six Baltimore policemen have been charged with the killing of a young black man. Up to a couple of weeks ago, this was unimaginable.

In this case it was police brutality not specifically a racial incident. I wonder how many other incidents have gone unreported?
