The Next President of the United States!

Bernie is in this to WIN. He is not in it to 'drag other candidates to the Left'.

History shows that when we need someone to come along just when it looks like all is lost, currently the fact that Corporate Money is buying our elections, our politicians, writing our laws, running our media, controlling the 'message', destroying the middle class, oppressing minorities, denying the people the right to participate in their democracy, someone comes along just when they are needed.

FDR was one such person.

Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Public School Education, Job Creation, are still among the most popular programs and policies in this country today, across the political divide.

Sen. Bernie Sanders imo, is the right person at the right time to carry on FDR's legacy. And he can and will be the next President of the United States

Job Creation!

Education!

Health Care

Women's Rights

It takes courage to stand up against the Powerful Corporations that control so much and own so much of this country.

I'm just grateful that Bernie Sanders has done so.

Bernie has answered those questions.

He can win this election.

All we have to do is vote for him.

Bernie's in. Are you in for Bernie?

If he's running for the Democratic ticket, he may well go all the way, but if he's going to split the non-republican votes with a democratic candidate it's a near mathematical certainty that he won't.

Someone would have to explain to me how nearly every democrat, and the vast majority of the middle, would turn out to vote in a three way race for an Independent leftist like Sanders and put him over the top. I wish him the best, but I want to be realistic over optimistic.

Regardless, I hope he doesn't step down from the senate to run. We need him there and can't risk losing him.

So the progeny of the wealthy would never have to work again? So we could once again create a landed aristocracy in the U.S., like in old Europe? Different times, I wanted Kucinich but fell for the 'he can't win' routine as we were still in the throes of the Bush Regime. Millions of others did also. Not to mention, he was out of the race before millions of Americans had a chance to vote for him.

We are far more informed now than we were then.

We've learned a lot and now and that old 'he can't win' routine will fall on deaf ears.

Those who didn't want Kucinich and who don't want Bernie will have to come up with more than smears, those kind of tactics will only make people MORE supportive of this candidate.

We saw the smear machine at work with Kucinich. Had it not been for Bush, it wouldn't have worked then either.

It's really pretty simple, Bernie will win if we vote for him.

Btw, any comment on the issues?

However, we do have the internet which they hadn't counted on when they took over the media.

And people ARE using it already to get people on board with Bernie.

Reddit is one of the biggest forums on the internet and Bernie is already the most read candidate on that site, plus they are talking about 'helping him to win'.

You are right that if we can't get a good candidate elected anymore, it is definitely a bad state of affairs.

But I think we can. If every Bernie supporter could get even one other person to learn about him and support him, we would have a good chance of winning.

Hillary's been against mass incarceration since last week. Her long held position created the problems we face today.

Some are easier to "get behind" than others are. I believe we are coming into an age (some will have fun with that one) where we must enlighten ourselves on this planet the continual momentum of human existence. This planet will survive without us, otherwise…

But more to the immediate reason for supporting Bernie Sanders - I believe in what he has said, is saying and WILL do.

I can't TELL you how long I've been WITHOUT that feeling. Trepidations regarding every single decision I've made, beginning in 1992. Before this time, I was mostly one of the "unaware" persons who could be swayed, and wasn't sure why.

I believe in Bennie Sanders leadership. Who he will pick in his cabinet will be my next conversation.

100. 'Who he will pick in his cabinet' I have a feeling it will be a far more Liberal/Left cabinet

minus the Republicans in the current cabinet.

It's been a while for most people, I think.

He will be a great leader, imo.

It sure has been a long while for most people… Can you hear the cob webs of the Democratic party being cleared for cogent thoughts of liberal origin?

I'm fairly sure I can…

103. It's so unbelievable to have a candidate you can be this enthusiastic about.

Yes, the cobwebs are being disturbed.

And that is a very good thing!

Have you joined the Bernie Sanders Group yet, MMM? It's a great group, very positive.

I even changed my Star Trek for an avatar.

I don't think I've felt this way in a L O N G - L O N G time, if you know what I mean... (and I believe you do).

We had a big renovation project last year, that spilled over into some project we just paid into. However, our chest is building and he'll get our support real soon. Best money I'll ever spend in a long time.

I think he has taken the political insiders by surprise.

But then they have never really been tuned into the people.

See you in Bernie's Group! And I do know what you mean!

....we may never have the option of voting for him for President.

the nomination, we will vote for him in the GE.

So, iow, if you're 'in for Bernie' it is assumed you are voting for him in the primaries and then on to the GE.

He's probably one of the few honest and decent politicians this country has. I really would love to see him win the presidency.

There is a Bernie Sanders group now on DU. Not sure if you are there yet, if not, I think you would like it!

Nothing is impossible!
