Mike Huckabee: U.S. moving toward 'criminalization of Christianity'The United States is moving toward criminalization of Christianity as a result of legalizing same-sex marriage, Mike Huckabee told a group of conservative pastors in a conference call organized by the Family Research Council.
I think its fair to say that Christian convictions are under attack as never before, Huckabee said Thursday, according to audio of the call obtained by Right Wing Watch, a project of the progressive advocacy group People for the American Way. Not just in our lifetime, but ever before in the history of this great nation. We are moving rapidly toward the criminalization of Christianity.

(100,063 posts)Because if you want to become Commander in Chief of this great country of ours, there's a document called the Constitution that you fail to grasp the meaning of.
See after the Constitution was ratified, our Founding Fathers drafted some additional amendments called "The Bill of Rights" that were added in 1791. This document makes up amendments 1 - 10. The first amendment of this document guarantees four things:
1. Freedom of religion
2. Freedom of the press
3. Freedom of speech
4. Right to assemble
Now freedom of religion might be a foreign concept to modern fundamentalist Christians like yourself. What this means is that the government of the United States can't make laws that prohibit the free exercise of religion, and that includes the right to practice whatever religion you want, or the right to not practice at all. Which means that the government can't outlaw one religion over the other. So until you learn that, shut up.
