That's how I read it. Why would he care it's just food. Only other humans get bent out of shape about who gets what.

"And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all."

That is the King James translation but "loaves and fishes" clearly means "pizza crust and anchovies" in a more modern translation. "divided he among them all" should read "divided he among some of them"
