The open letter to Iran's leaders by 47 senators of March 9th, warning them that any nuclear deal they sign with the Obama administration wont last after Obama leaves office, is a clear and direct violation of the Logan Act and is treasonous. This action must not go unaddressed. We petition the White House and the Justice Dept. to take immediate and decisive action.

(60,010 posts)What they did is seditiousness...they told a foreign country that the sitting President was to be ignored by the Congress and the foreign country, and that Congress was actually in power.

(60,010 posts)TPM is already pointing out that the letter is causing a ruckus, as it should, so a petition should, at the very least, let DC notice there are a LOT of people watching events unfold.
