He has not actually vetoed the pipeline, as I understand it - he is vetoing the attempt

by Congress to usurp his authority to give a yea or nay to it.
I am afraid agreements like the TPP will make demonstrating against things like this pipeline moot, if corporations can sue due to lost opportunities for profits.
