Pinch me - watching a Repub debate in Az for my district - there are 5 Repugs... 3 say

it's time to bring the troops home from Afghanistan.

If there are repubs in Az that think it's time to bring the troops home - wow!

eta - you don't want to hear the rest of the things they are saying - help me if any of them get elected...

BUT on war, there is promise.

3. The only reason they want out of Afghanistan

is to free the manpower to go chase glory in Iran.

Arms contractors make too much money off war for the GOP to abandon it completely.

4. Is it anti-war or anti-Obama? The trick is how they answer per the rights threats against Iran.

Anti war = caution (or stronger) against action in Iran. If suddenly BooYaa go against our enemies - keep America safe... then it is tea party tired old line of only be against because it is a slash against Obama (who inherited the current war(s)). Not to say I would support current actions - just to say that I would be very cautious in taking those positions to be pro-peace.

6. Staying in Afghanistan makes almost as much sense as Newt Gingrich staying

in the presidential race one more week.
