5. Except for the spelling bit. . . .

Not a day goes by that I don't see possessives used here improperly in multiple posts. Everything that ends in an 's' doesn't need an apostrophe ie: "issue's". Sometimes it does. Many times it does not. And when possessives are improperly used, we look and sound really stupid. Learn basic English grammar. DUers need to learn what possessives are, when they are used.

7. I find it very difficult to read

because it doesn't make sense. But yea you're right. Expecting people to have learned basic English grammer by the time they're posting on DU is probably expecting too much.

8. Or basic spelling. Such as "grammar".

This correction brought to you by your local spelling Nazi.

11. Yeah, I've already submitted a TOS alert on you.

Apparently Teabagger Oriented Spelling isn't a bannable offense.

Yet.

14. improper use of apostrophes drives me nuts too.

Just saying, you're not alone. Inability to pluralize nouns ending in 'Y' also drives me nuts.

Can't help it, I'm just a word-head.

9. Here's a fallacy.

You can't "believe in global warming."

It just is what it is... the truth... a fact.
