As people talked about the risk, how Obama had to make the final decisions, going against a number of key advisers, perhaps even Biden and Hillary ....

There is Gregory, claiming that the American people don't really care about any of that stuff.

If a Republican took out OBL, I'm pretty sure that Gregory would be one of those personally constructing the monument to that President.

"I don't think it is the job of media to ask the hard questions", blah blah blah. He signaled to mngt. that he would play ball. Create any meme he was paid to construct. He would spin the zeitgeist. Presto, chango, leading journalist.

We have a couple of really nasty r.w. nutters on the radio here in Chicago and when he is on with them he is such a wimp. He is scared of the old coots.

Romney is a prime example. He simply won't appear. Lefties however enjoy a real debate because the facts are usually on their side and so they expect a grilling. Gregory doesn't want to have a show like Rachel Maddow's, where no right wingers come on because they know they will be challenged. You'd have no Meet The Press if conservatives were asked tough questions because they simply wouldn't go on.
