Barack Obama Killed It At The Correspondent's Dinner

Barack Obama has very good writers.

Soon after opening with a joke at the expense of Donald Trump, the president recalled his personal history, ending, "And of course, I was born in Hawaii," and giving a conspiratorial wink.

He recalled that four years ago he was locked in a bitter primary with Hillary Clinton. "Four years later she won't stop drunk-texting me from Cartagena" he japed.

Our favorite so far was this: "What's the difference between a hockey mom and a Pitbull? A Pitbull is delicious!" he said, taking on the Obama eats dogs jokes from the conservative media.

1. This could get good.

Trump has no sense of humor. He gets really angry when anyone makes jokes at his expense. He thinks he is too important and kinglike to be laughed at. If he ran the world his way, such people would be beheaded.

4. I don't think Mitt has a sense of humor, either, but he's not as bad as Trump..

I think The Donald acts like something between a caricature of Donald Duck and a two-year-old.

Wait, that may be the same thing. Holy quacamole.

5. I've noticed that Obama really has a hard on against Trump.

I'm wondering what The Donald did to piss him off so much? It's beyond Trump's everyday arrogance.

15. Oh please. They married their money.

That's why Limbaugh thinks all women are whores. They're the only kind of women he's ever gotten.

10. It's a commonly used phrase to express the idea

that someone has it out for another person. Surely, you haven't been in a cave for a hundred years not to know that.

14. I understood the joke to be

that when he said a year ago he took somebody down everyone would think it was Osama Bin Laden, which is what happened. But instead he said he took Trump down. That's the punch line.

It was funny because of that.

Trying to explain funny is hard.

9. I don't think he is pissed off at him

The Donald is such an easy target for comedy plus he was a birther which is another reason that makes him an easy target.

11. I think you are right. It was the birther thing. I forgot about that.

Good thing Orly Taitz, doesn't go to those affairs, I can't even imagine what he would target her with.
