no, we do not HATE Hillary.

Look, I will recite the blood oath: if Hillary WINS THE PRIMARY, I will vote for her, because as awful as a Hillary presidency would be, it would at least keep the Koch brothers and Grover Norquist out of the White House (and we all know THEY are the people whp would run the show.)

However, some of us want a primary because that is the one time in the whole procedure where Hillary HAS to listen to Democrats, including those on the left. If we do not have that period, she is free to do things like hire Larry Summers as part of her campaign. She is free to cater to the right on matters such as the TPP, or bang war drums. The problem with saying "Hilllary is inveitable, get on board already!" is that Hillary can do things that are outright hostile to the left, and have absolutley no reason to even care. I realize that to many (albeit not all )Hillary supporters, that is an amen, as they late the left onlight slightly less than the GOP does, but if you want our help, you need to at the very least offer NOT to take from us what little we have left.

again, I am not a Naderista. 2000 proved once and for all that, rather than help the left, going third party solidfies the right, as many, including blue dog democrats, will make sure the message is "You shoulda gone right." However, THIS IS THE PHASE where Hillary, or ANY candidiate for Democrat, HAS TO LISTEN TO AND WOO those whose votes she wants. You do not get to cut that phase out, she tried in 2008, and she lost.

It is a time for exposure of the issues important to Democrats, it allows Democrats to receive free air time in just the reporting. I do not understand the hate expressed here on DU about Hillary, the lies about her record, calling her a corporatists when we know candidates on the national level needs the funds of corporations.

I do not like hearing if Hillary is the nominee they will not vote or will write in others names is not working for the Democrats. They complain about a few issues, our world is facing many many serious issues, just trying to protect our citizens is major in today's world. We do not live in the Cleaver family world.

Bring on the primaries, put the issues on the floor, I am not afraid of a primary, welcome a primary, know this is important in our political system. Get truthful, don't depend on an anti Hillary poster to get the right information, research, look up the candidates and their stand on the issues.

to the place of expressing an opinion. Not a hater...Not a lover...Not a Naderite..not either/or...not black/white.

Liberals, as John Fuselang put it, are not necessarily Ds or Rs. It's their penchant for listening, being open, maybe even (gasp) changing an opinion when presented with logical, new or formerly unknown facts. They are for those who get it and those who don't. And I don't what the "neodefinition" is for "neoliberal" ...it's always seems to be a perjorative...but I'm sure someone will enlighten me.

And anybody who is eligible to vote, stays home, doesn't get their every wish fulfilled/the purists, et al is voting for a Bush Trifecta. There is no such thing as not voting on Election Day. You either cast a ballot for your party/candidates, or you minus one from them...and in my book that is a vote for the opponent.

There is only one person who speaks as President for 300,000,000 people. Not everyone gets to have it all their way.

Hillary and the Kochs were all DLC backers. She's been an advocate of the Keystone XL Pipeline, which will benefit no one more than the Kochs.

but I don't think it will matter to the anti-Hillary faction here if she starts sounding a bit more left. They will just accuse her of pandering to try and get the leftie vote.

But IMO, get used to voting for her. I think she is about 90% likely to get the nomination, and that other 10% is just because she could always trip over her own feet. And then our beloved Crazy Uncle Joe gets the nomination.
