Christian violence...

Fox says that Christians kill nobody.

How do you suppose they would respond to the Irish situation?

For centuries, the Irish Catholics and Irish Protestants - and their British Anglican masters - killed each other by the thousands.

During the "troubles" between 1969 and 1997, 3,600 Christians killed each other.

And that violence continues... although at a much slower pace.

Let's ignore the Crusades, which are "current events" in the Middle East. Let's ignore the Inquisition. Let's ignore the European wars of religion during the 16th and 17th Centuries.... which had as much - or more - barbarism as anything happening today.

All that happened long ago, and Americans have the historical perspective and attention span of a clam.

Let's just point to the Irish Christians.
