"I got two words for you, predator drones"

I busted a gut laughing.

Obama was talking about his Daughters and warning the Jonas Brothers.

I caught just a clip of that a while ago. Not even sure what it was from. Has anyone posted a link to that? My lap top has been real glitchy the last couple of days.

Any one have a link. All of a sudden I have this untangle crap on my lap top and I can't do searches.

my older Sister is 72 years old. When I was a kid I remember she had gone to a church thing with a boy. He brought her home and they sat out in the car too long. My Dad get up from his chair, one suspender holding his pants up and gets his shotgun and turns on the porch light, goes outside and starts pointing the shotgun. fired off one shot into the air. My Sister was out in a flash and that boy was gone. I don't know, seems like a Dad thing to me.

If someone had fired a shotgun around my son, even in the air like that, I would have raised hell.

“They feel this imminent threat of being attacked from the sky. And they feel helpless because they have no other place to relocate. Many have no skills, no education, so they cannot relocate to other parts of Pakistan,” he said. Advocate Akbar showed a photo of a teenager named Saadullah, who was helping his mother in the kitchen when a drone hit their home in Fata in 2009. He woke up in a hospital three days later without his legs.

Sanaullah, a 17-year-old pre-engineering student, burned alive in his car during another strike in 2010.

“We apologize to the people of Pakistan for the strikes that have killed so many civilians,” --Nancy Mancias, CodePink

Akbar also showed photos of the Bismillah family: mother, father, a daughter and a son, all killed in a drone strike.

Other speakers noted that US drone strikes in Pakistan had also killed 168 children. They quoted from recent surveys suggesting the number of ordinary people killed could be 40 per cent higher than previously reported. [...]

1) It's a deliberate attempt to provoke those of us who don't think our drone assassinations are hunky dory

Or

2) We've become a very sad, sick, nation

The president is clever and affable, and surprisingly good at these dinners, but many of us equate that joke with Bush's 'looking under the table for WMD' shtick. The taking of lives is not a joking matter. Thanks for understanding.
