The affair is one thing. The fact that Elizabeth was betrayed is something I'll never forgive.

Innocent until proven guilty.

1. I see the photos and can only think one thing, one word: "FOOL"

If I must expand, it would be "Pathetic Fool" (both targeted towards Edwards... I can't be bothered to think anything about her)

2. Innocent until proven... I still think he's a sleaze and I've never liked him and what he

did was beyond forgivable, but he's being charged with a specific crime, and deserves to be tried in a court of law. That's America.

6. He is a scumbag and I would never support him again - but he is innocent until proven guilty

I remember the big deal they mad out of him and his wifes anniversary during the campaign and how they always went to Wendy's even though they could afford much more.

Then you learn this guy is shagging someone else on the side and then lied about to everyone. I think he lost any hope of ever getting people to support him again. Maybe the Republican Party would welcome him with open arms now.

11. Never liked him, even before scumbag proof, but I'm not convinced he's guilty of ...

campaign finance crime.

7. No rot in jail you grafting thief option?

This trial isn't about whether he did it or not, IMO - it is whether or not one set of attorneys can outsmart another set of attorneys on the technicalities.

10. It takes two people to make a marriage work.

And Elizabeth had her flaws, just like John.
