Democrats/Progressives/Liberals - Only count those people in the designated area. If the activity is at a park only count those people in the park and not the overflow of people that surround a park. Then you divide that number by 5. So if Fox says 20,000 attended the event it was probably 100k at the event and that doesn't include the surrounding areas.

GOP/Conservative/Teabaggers - Not only count those people in the designated area but count those who are reporters, protestors and even random passerby folks. Add in anyone within a 500 feet radius of the area like people at the local coffee shop getting coffee or picking up their dry cleaning - if they happen to be nearby, include them in the count. Make sure you add in babies and pets too. Then multiply that number by 10. So if Faux News says 2000 people attended the rally it was probably about 200 and that includes a bunch of people who happened to be in the area but not a part of the event.
