Hubby is working the polls for the Republican primary today...

here in the People's Republic of New Haven (don't worry, he's a good Dem. He gets paid). There are all of 103 registered Republicans in our precinct, a tiny percent in our heavily Dem and Ind. section of of our heavily Dem city.

I went in to bring him the morning papers and the place was deserted. The poll worker sitting next to him had fallen asleep and was snoring!

They had been open since 6 am. It was then 9:45. Hubby said they had had 3 voters in all that time...

Hubby is still registered repub so one of us can vote in each primary. They called with a poll last night. He told them his first choice was Santorum with Ron Paul his distant 2nd choice. They kept saying "Could you possibly change your mind?" He told them "No way!". As soon as we get back from vacation, our Obama / Biden sign goes up in our yard!
