Sarah Palin tells the truth (end of the world is nigh)

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2894035/Sarah-Palin-sparks-outrage-posting-photo-son-standing-family-dog.html

Thursday's post read: 'Happy New Year! May 2015 see every stumbling block turned into a stepping stone on the path forward.

'Trig just reminded me. He, determined to help wash dishes with an oblivious mama not acknowledging his signs for "up!", found me and a lazy dog blocking his way.

OK so half the web is all freaking about animal abuse. Well ya, it's "off with the turkey heads" Palin so you know..... But really the dog looks fine..... surprisingly...... I guess they stand on that poor dog on a regular basis and she's used to it.

The real nugget in this story is Sarah telling the world that she believes if anything gets in your way... any living thing.... just crush it underfoot and keep going.

This is a Republican article of faith..... the most important part of what makes Republicans choose the way they choose. "I get what I want and if you get in my way I will break you."

To hear it come from the pen of Sarah is not shocking at all.
Fish swim.
Birds fly.
Republicans abuse.

That she chose to highlight her son's use of a "lesser" creature as his "steppingstone" in acquiring his goals is the perfect metaphor for the RW mindset of acquiring their goals on the backs of those they deem less worthy than themselves.

Truly illustrates how clueless the woman is that she overlooked the real truth in her attempt at being wise.

And, what happens if this kid doesn't understand that you don't do that to dogs and tries it again with a strange dog and gets bitten? Any mother would have been HORRIFIED if their child stepped on the dog. That kid is no lightweight either.

If that was bothering the dog, he would have jumped right up and threw the boy off and probably if you took the pic about 15 seconds later, that is exactly what would have happened. The dog would have jumped up. I do not like Palin at all, but in this case you folks are hypercritical. She just caught her child in a funny moment. Find something more important to get upset over.

Not just one by the way

Children learn from their parents. More than likely Sarah has used this dog as a prop before and the poor child was copying her. I don't know. But a person who takes a picture of animal abuse and then thinks its cute is amazing to me.

What would happen if the dog got up and Trig hit his head on the back of the counter?? Would she ten put the dog down because he was acting like a Dog who was annoyed?? It's her irrespsonible behavior that people are complaining about.

If our dog was bigger I'm sure my 4-year-old would have attempted to do the same thing. And, if that happened and our dog appeared to be as unbothered by it as this dog appears, I'm sure my wife woud have taken a picture and posted it too.

Any good parent would have stopped the child from doing that to the dog - because it risks injury to the dog and to the kid stepping on him.

her when he gets bigger, and then the dog will be punished or even put down as "vicious" or "dangerous."

On the other hand, I have to say that Calculus is a cute little fellow! I hope he is given enough of the right kind of attention at home. I was always upset at the way she used him as a campaign prop, handling him like a football and ignoring him most of the time when cameras were not flashing. He spent much more time in his sisters' arms--especially Piper's, despite how young she was in 2008--than in his mother's, but that makes me hope that at least Piper, and maybe Bristol, and even Willow, are deeply attached to him and provide plenty of love and attention. He sure looks like a happy kid, and that makes me happy. I have always wondered how he was doing since he sort of "disappeared" after the campaign.

16. There is much more wrong here than stepping on a dog
Fri Jan 2, 2015, 04:06 PM

The full story -- as told by Sarah Failin' -- is all over the 'net -- check the Immoral Minority and the Malia Litman blogs. Here's the short version:
-- Sarah says she was washing dishes
-- She didn't notice Trig's "gestures" meaning he wanted to get up to the counter and help her
-- So Trig stepped on the dog and Sarah grabbed her camera.

There is SO MUCH wrong here that goes WAY beyond stepping on the dog.

1. Trig is 6 years old. With his Down Syndrome, he has hearing, sight, speaking, and mobility challenges.
2. Where are his hearing aids and his glasses?
3. Why is there not a step-stool available for him?
4. If he cannot talk or cannot speak plainly, why is he not in therapy as are a lot of Down Syndrome kids with similar challenges? At age 6, if he had been in speech therapy, he should be able to communicate, even with simple sounds -- providing, of course, his family is part of the therapy, learning to understand his sounds.
5. Where are the Christmas decorations in the house?

Jan 2015

1) Doesn't Saint Sarah use the dishwasher Trig is standing in front of?

2) If she's actually washing dishes, where are the signs of it? If she puts the soapy water in the left-hand bowl there should be a dish drainer sitting next to the sink. If she puts it in the right-hand bowl there should be soap suds sticking up out of the sink.

3) What kind of an idiot buys a centerswing patio door?

4) No crosses? Anywhere?

5) What kind of hazardous cleaning products are in that undersink cabinet that has no baby locks on it?

I think we've all missed the fact there aren't any Christmas decorations - maybe he pulls them down so they don't erect a tree, but you'd think she'd have stuff on the walls.

That was a trick question, wasn't it?

The Palins didn't buy that patio door. It was "donated" by the Wasilla sports complex.

Centerswings and sliders: the two stupidest patio doors you can get. A French door costs no more and you can open both panels to get the new couch in the home with ease.
