Please cheer me up.

I just had a nightmare.

The voters in this country handed over power to the plutocrats. Mittens was Pres, sort of 1979 all over again, except all our reserves are gone, we're in debt up to our eyeballs, big money owns our government lock stock and smoking barrel, and we had devolved into a parody of Idiocracy.

It's not too late. We can't be that stupid.

Right?

1. The problem is, the plutocrats are in power *now*...

Dislodging them is going to take more than voting for one of the two officially sanctioned parties...

Alas....

We still have a good chance, if we can get a couple more seats in the Supreme Court back.

12. So what are you suggesting? Voting for Lyndon LaRouche perhaps?

Lyndon LaRouche doesn't belong to one of the two officially sanctioned parties.

Should we all vote for Lyndon LaRouche over President Obama?

Would that fix your plutocrat problem?

I'm going with that one. Every word he says comes off as smarmy and fake.

Mahalos.

Puppies always cheer me up.

In case you're feeling extra gloomy, I'll toss in a couple of bunnies.

But seriously...about the plutocracy nightmare. I find hope in this strong sense I have that people are starting to wake up, starting to recognize the beast and fight back against it. A year or two ago, there was no Occupy movement to shine a light on the plutocracy, and scarcely anyone outside of DU knew who or what ALEC was. Maybe the American Spring is imminent.
