Orlando has Disney World, Holy Land, Epcot..and now Machine Gun America.

This is right in the middle of a much visited strip of tourist attractions. I assume since Channel 10 News in Tampa is shown in a video at the link discussing it, that it might be considered general discussion material. The video is partway down the page.

Also since it is being reported abroad, even if by the Daily Mail....that it is topic of general interest.

What could possibly go wrong? Assault rifle theme park 'Machine Gun America' where children as young as 13 fire military-grade weapons in zombie-themed training simulators to open in Orlando

Although management claim their Orlando, Florida, attraction provides a safe place for the use of firearms, critics claim it is unsuitable for an area known for its child-friendly attractions.

The website for the business - named Machine Gun America - states it is Orlando's 'first automatic adrenaline attraction'.

It explains: 'Whether you're looking to unleash your inner action star or become a zombie hunter, experience the exhilarating rush of shooting real machine guns and powerful firearms for a thrill like any other.'

But Lucia Kay McBath, a member of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense, said: 'You've got Holy Land right there in Orlando. You've got Disney World, and Epcot. All places for family fun where they should feel protected,' WTSP reported.

I read a good bit of that there Bible and didn't get the impression that the Holy Land had much to do with family fun.

Lots of killing and smiting and so forth, though.

It's called Nuclear Weapon Fun Time.

The headline ride is a great thing. (Cowboy hats, extra cost, of course.)

The survival kit content check is, shall we say, interesting.
(Video blocked.)

The official corporate motto is "Now let's this thing on the hump. We've got some flyin' to do."
(Again, video blocked.)

Of course, every ride ends with, "Mein Fuhrer! I can walk!"

Sorry. Could not resist.

Unfortunately, due to utter idiocy at YouTube, there is no evidence for Survival Kit Content Check. Or the "get things on the hump" comment. Stupid, ignorant MPAA, who think they own everything ever broadcast or projected.

Pshaw

Such an incident may be at the gun park or a child acting out his or her festive experience at home. False confidence will run rampant.

in Las Vegas, you have to be at least 18 to fire one and it's strictly supervised by the range masters.
Several years without a mishap in Las Vegas.
As I said, much ado about nothing.

No drinking age in Europe is great and would work here and reduce binge drinking because it would remove the mystery and "forbidden fruit" of alcohol, yet teaching someone proper respect for a weapon at a young age would encourage them to blast away 3rd period algebra?

It is not like management is going to let you off the range with the machine gun.
It is not like regular people can afford a machine gun even if they wanted to buy one.
