There are plenty of candidates for the Equine Posterior Achievement Award at Right Wing Watch. Ted Cruz? Gordon Klingenschmitt? How can you narrow it down?

Yeah you can peg Ted Cruz or Ted Nugent, or Sarah Palin, or John McCain, but this was the year of the insane anti-LGBT bigot, and nobody can come close to the same league as these two. Nobody.
