That’s Wild: Billionaire Bill Koch owns a private Wild West town in Colorado

If I despised him before...All I can say is..."ROSEBUD..."

Wild West enthusiast Koch now adds a private town to Wild West collection that includes Jesse James’ gun, George Custer’s flag and the only known photo of Billy the Kid.

You may have an Old West play set, but billionaire Bill Koch has his own frontier town.

Koch's town boasts its own water-treatment system and approximately 50 buildings including a saloon, jail, church, stable and train station. The town is located on a 420-acre meadow on his 6,400-acre Bear Ranch in Gunnison County, Colo.

A mansion will soon sit atop a hill for the wealthy Wild West enthusiast to admire his fantasy turned reality. Few will get to visit this Centennial State town for themselves. Security will stand guard at locked gates to prevent trespassers from stumbling upon the Old West town, according to the Denver Post.

WILD WEST GHOST TOWN FOR SALE IN UTAH

"It's like something out of a 'Gunsmoke' movie set," said Ramon Reed of the country's planning commission.

are all dead due to above-ground nuclear testing - the fallout and prevailing winds blew a lot of dust onto the sets. On the movie Stagecoach & one of John Wayne's movies, everyone died about the same time starting in the 1960s and are all gone today.

and were on the route to see Royal Gorge (highest bridge in in the US). I was so disappointed a couple of years ago when I took some out-of-state friends to see the Gorge and realized that they were gone, and then angered and saddened when I found out what had happened to them.
