The name "Pine Lawn" sounded more like a name for a cemetery.

Then look up Pine Lawn police station on Facebook. You'll be led to this story.

http://m.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/family-wants-answers-in-case-of-fatal-shooting-by-pine/article_198c5bff-be00-5195-8639-0d33df03594a.html?mobile_touch=true

I can't copy and paste but can say the story has to do with the killing of unarmed black man by a white cop in July and that the family wants answers.

You're going to have to be patient and read the entire story before rushing to judgement.

I'm still reading myself.

There was a officer involved shooting earlier this year. Plus, there was an effort to impeach the mayor. I really don't know much just what I learned with a quick Google.

I don't believe there were any follow-up questions but I would have thought there should have been. I have a pdf copy of the transcript which I can't search for text. I did read way past the part I included in this post and there wasn't any more questions about it.

And quit immediately (boss wasn't pissed; that's actually why he always pays your first shift in cash that day because so many guys say "screw this&quot .

I quit a couple of jobs after the first shift, too.

Those and other skeletons in my closet are why I don't run for public office.

Personally, I don't think such actions should automatically viewed as negative. However, I think they are eye-brow raising and sometimes should be explained.

I always thought I'd love to go out on a fishing boat (shrimping) at least it always sounded great.

Many tried, few chose to stay. Good union jobs too. More than one told me "you guys are crazy."
