Tonight, I really dislike the 1%

I have been working at my job for five months and found out my boss has expenensed:
His condo
$30,000 parking spaces for said condo
His two acuras
plus other expenses including a steamer.
On top of his ridiculous salary.
And i was told today that I could not attend a necessary conference because of budgetary constraints - even though they paid $600 for it already. Just because of mileage and hotel. I am sick to my stomach right now. And I can't even pay my water bill right now as a campus dirctor of a college.

Meaning, your boss runs the college!? Public or private?

Either way, I'll bet tuition for the students has continued to shoot up, while Mr. Boss continues to expense the multiple cars, et al...

And tuition just went up. Supposedly we are ahead $20,000, but they can't pay for me to drive from KC to St. Louis and stay at hotel for one night.

Obviously your boss is entitled to all that stuff right? Because, well, you know, he's special. Being a feudal lord and such.

We are going to have to start occupying bigger spaces. I miss those occupiers.

That was when the Tyco CEO threw that huge party for his wife in the Mediterranean with Jimmy Buffet and that vodka dispensing ice penis.

I like to refer to it as our "let them eat cake" moment.

As for the religious right - as a former fundie I was waking up to their bullshit after 9/11 and all the evil shit Falwell and Robertson were spewing at the time - and my church was buying into their lies. I knew I had to leave and I'm so better off for it.

My old boss in radio got a whole bunch of perks ... Mercedes Benz being one. He would expense even a cheap cup of coffee , it made me ill to do his expense report every month.
