He was the head of the First Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas until he went off to Dallas. We still have his remnants in the form of a gaudy wannabe mega-church.

He also led the ban on the book "Heather has Two Mommies" when he was here. It only sparked more interest in the book than if he had kept his stupid trap shut.

I'm a little sad to see he's being given more of a national platform.
