While, as usual, Mittens came across as arrogant beyond belief, there really isn't anything wrong with his expressing the view that he expects to win an election in which he is running.

I doubt that John Kerry used the phrase "start packing" when he ran against chimpy, but if he had I dont' think I'd have been particularly upset about it.

He was backed by his wife of 43 years, Ann Romney, who told Sawyer she also had a message for Obama. "I believe it's... Mitt's time... It's our turn now," she said.

What kind of shit storm would Michelle Obama start off with a comment like that during the 2008 campaign? Talk about entitled! Does the White House have stables for her dressage horse? The Obamas better get on that right away! I think building stables right over Michelle's commie, nanny-state garden would be perfect...

Tweety jumped on this right away. "Who does he think he is? Prince Charles?"

Ann, no matter what you think you are entitled to, it's the American people who decide whose turn it is. Not you.

tied up at the top of your car-elevator, while you're at it.

And what kind of loving, conscientious, devoted, full-time mom would allow her husband to treat their own family dog so inhumanely, 'eh, ann, dear?

*ALL* presidential candidates talk as if they're going to win.

Saying pack your bags means simply "I am planning on winning and moving in to the whitehouse".

Seriously, you're getting upset that a presidential candidate dared to suggest that he would win.

This is silly.

all his possessions.

He's trying to be like GW- "yer either with us or against us".... the stupid, arrogant, bully mentality.

Or, maybe a subliminal message to the NRA extremists- urging Pres. O to arm himself.

I wouldn't expect any different than this from Romney. He has continually spoken about Pres. Obama without respect, and downright lied in many of his campaign monologues. Romney is a rich, selfish fool. imo

Otherwise they might have to discuss policy and you actually have to know something for that.

Completely tasteless comment IMHO. So was Ann's assertion that it's his (Romney's) "turn" to be POTUS. This is the kind of "entitlement reform" that we REALLY need to have in this country IMHO.
