It makes me upset that Democratic candidate are running from President Obama

I'm pulling my hair out. President Obama has a strong record of accomplishments any Democrat should be proud to stand by.

I read this option piece from the New York Times below:

From The New York Times:

The Democratic Panic

In hopes of preserving control of the United States Senate, Democratic candidates are keeping their distance from President Obama’s best policies, but that’s a risk.

What's wrong with the Lumpenproletariat that they don't realize how great Obama's trickle-down strategy will be for them one day?

Amazing.

Alison Grimes accuses McConnell of providing amnesty and taxpayer benefits to "illegal aliens"

The liberal advocacy group MoveOn.org is demanding that Democratic Kentucky Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes take down an ad that uses the term “illegal aliens.”

“This latest TV ad from Alison Lundergan Grimes is deeply upsetting. Grimes seems to be forgetting that we are a nation of immigrants that has continually strived to honor all the hard-working people who aspire to the American Dream,” Ilya Sheyman, MoveOn.org’s executive director, said in a statement Tuesday.

“It’s deeply troubling that Grimes would stoop this low in order to try to defeat [Senate Minority Leader Mitch] McConnell, and she needs to take this offensive advertisement off the air immediately.”
Grimes’s ad accuses her Republican opponent, McConnell, of voting to provide “amnesty and taxpayer-funded benefits to three million illegal aliens, the largest legalization program in U.S. history,” and cites a Washington Post article.

Grimes appears at the end of the ad to approve the message and says, “I’ve never supported amnesty or benefits for illegal immigrants, and I never will.”

If they don't see the benefit of have Obama around, that's their problem. Bet Obama, Michelle, and Biden spend a lot of time the next few weeks on the campaign trail anyway.

Time to start ignoring the voices that say we will lose, are losing, or are panicking.

The election will be the final arbiter of this political strategy. In the case of McConnell vs. Grimes, it is clear people in Kentucky like Kynect, that Kynect is Obamacare/ACA, that McConnell is proposing eliminating it (well, except for the website) and that Grimes is too chickenshit to connect the dots and argue on its behalf. Bill Clinton is advising her and this is the same tired political philosophy of the DLC, the Third Way, the Blue Dogs, or whatever permutation applies.

.... entire motivation is to get elected. If they are running away from Obama there is a simple reason.

His poll numbers suck. And why is that? Well, that is left as an exercise for the reader.

It's a big part of the reason we had to endure 8 years of the Cheney/Rove presidency. These people need a clue.

And sadly so many people here won't admit that even when it comes to Grimes in KY, she can't admit she voted for Obama and we all know damn well why. These folk around here pretending like she's on some noble cause to save the Senate for the Democrats are full of it. BULLSHIT! It has always been about this man's race! That's the only thing these ReThugs have to fall back on. And if the Democrats are honest and better than those assholes they'd admit the truth and remember what happened during the 2008 Democratic primaries when many white Democrats openly admitted that they couldn't vote for a black man.
