Sativex, a UK produced prescription pain relief drug for multiple sclerosis sufferers, has been rejected by the medical institute ironically named NICE for its huge price tag.

About 100,000 people in the UK (1.2million worldwide) suffer from MS (Multiple Sclerosis). It “involves an immune-mediated process in which an abnormal response of the body’s immune system is directed against the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves.



Within the CNS, the immune system attacks myelin — the fatty substance that surrounds and insulates the nerve fibres — as well as the nerve fibres themselves. The damaged myelin forms scar tissue (sclerosis), which gives the disease its name...

not knowing it at the time but damn sure knowing something was wrong and as I look back I now realize that the pot was what saved me from myself. I no longer toke but I did for 40 some odd years. started in '68 and quit a couple years ago
