Anyone else getting e-mail solicitations for donations from candidates they've never heard of?

Lately it seems about 2/3s of my e-mails are these.

Yes they're all from Democrats and while I've donated to candidates I like in the past this is the first time I've experienced this degree of unwanted solicitation.

Florida Governor election. I mostly ignore the rest, but Crist emails keep asking if I have sent in my Absentee Ballot yet. What? How in the world can anyone know I requested that? I just got out of state and have been very busy. As soon as it quiets down a bit, I will send it in. I have not forgotten! lol

They may be looking at pages you've liked, or pages your Facebook friends have liked. I'm getting tons of email solicitations for candidates I think are in Illinois, even though I live in Georgia.

You should give as much as possible.

Actually it drives me nuts - particularly the phone calls. But round here we get a lot of the push poll surveys as well, which are annoying in a different way.

delete folder. I just have no idea who they are and there are some many I don't bother to read them except to see if the rest in the future should be auto-deleted.

And it's frustrating! Yes I delete. Yes I unsubscribe. But some of them come back anyway, or it's on behalf of the same candidate but just sent by somebody else on the staff maybe with their own account or something. I have no idea. But I just delete, delete, delete. Criminy! I JUST DONATED!!! Like a week or so ago. I took advantage of all the triple-match and double-match opportunities I could so my donation would go farther. I gave to all the big ones, DLCC, DCCC, DSCC, DGA, one individual request from Elizabeth Warren, Daily Kos, Democracy for America, and NARAL. And sure enough, the next day, here they come again, begging for MORE! Sheesh!!! I keep wondering what they did with what I just gave them. And frankly, I don't have any more to donate at the moment. Whatever I have left is already spoken for. I think some of the campaigns sell their email lists to other candidates. Because I too hear from people I've never heard of, in other states where I haven't been keeping track.

Hey, I've done all I can. They can beg all they want. I can't help them any further. I'm cleaned out.

Spam in my main e-mail account. I have a hotmail account and there is a junk filter, but the reason I don't get many e-mails soliciting is because I don't give out that e-meql account. I have a different e-mail account that I check once in a while.
