3 brazilian citizens are arrested for murder and cannibilism.
Sao Paolo, Brazil (CNN) -- Brazilian police have arrested three people suspected of killing at least two women, eating parts of their bodies and using their remains to make stuffed meat pies sold in the northeastern town of Garanhuns.
The three suspects, 51-year-old Jorge Beltrao Negroponte, his wife and his mistress were arrested Wednesday and have confessed to the crimes, police told national television. The female suspects were not identified. Interviewed behind bars, Negroponte told SBT Television that he followed the instructions of voices in his head. "I did certain things for purification, to protect people and deliver them to God," he told SBT on Sunday. missing brazilians were used to make the meat pies. For someone who has never made huge batches of meat pies with human flesh filling, it's hard to say how many.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS: Personal attack. You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Mon Apr 16, 2012, 12:29 AM, and the Jury voted 2-4 to LEAVE IT. Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: It was funny. Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT and said: No explanation given Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: NYC_SKP says, FFS, this is not a violation. Taterguy is talking about the cannibals, not the poster or anyone who is protected. No violation, Leave It Alone. Hi DU, how ya doin? Hi other Jurors!!! Wasn't that fun???? Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT and said: No explanation given Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: I will refer the good alerter back to DU Rule #347, Page 72, Section 87C, Sub-Section 'H', Paragraph Number 67, Line 10, To Wit: Taterguy is a dumbass. Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: Personal attack? By answering OP's question "how many was that?" after both the thread title and article said 3 were arrested - with the answer 3? Get a grip. I am nominating this for a DUzy. Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future. |

|
Donald Rumsfeld is giving the president his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed."
"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!" His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands. Finally, the President looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?" |

That old bush joke was what immediately came to mind when I read the closing line of the OP: "How many is that???"
I sort of figured it was the whole reason maid posted that particular news story in the first place - so he could use that punch line. |

33. Ah. For whatever reason, that joke stuck with me over all these years,
|
and I've been joking about "a brazillion this" and "a brazillion that" (yes, with two 'el's) ever since. Hardly anyone else ever gets it, of course, but that doesn't stop me - it cracks me up. I'm easy to please.
That's why I got such a kick out of the OP - someone else remembered the joke! I actually saw it yesterday, just after it first got posted. But the first reply had already acknowledged the joke, and I couldn't think of anything witty to add at the time, so I just moved on until I saw your pm. Quite the all-star jury! Yay for the good guys! |
