Rick Santorum Signed Up 3-Year-Old Daughter For A Lifetime NRA Membership

And for all that noise & effort, Romney’s well-publicized duck behind his wife’s mommy-skirts was only the second most pathetic family-related pandering by a GOP candidate this week!:

Speaking at the NRA Convention today:

"Karen and I are life members of the NRA and we wanted to announce today that I talked to Chris and now Bella is a life member of the NRA too. And I hope it's a long life."

I can't overstate my revulsion over this.

for his paltry charitable donations. But he has money to buy a lifetime membership to the NRA for a child with a fatal disorder.

In 2010, President Obama gave 14.2 percent and presidential candidate Mitt Romney gave 13.8 percent of their income to charity. Santorum gave only 1.76 percent, or $16,289, of his $923,411 income to charity. Newt Gingrich gave 2.6 percent of his $3.1 million income to charity and Ron Paul has refused to release his tax returns.

"We always need to do better," Santorum said. "I was in a situation where we have seven children and one disabled child who we take care of. She's very, very expensive. We love her and we cherish the opportunity to take care of her, but it's an additional expense. We need round-the-clock care for her and our insurance company doesn't cover it so I have to cover it.

Thought it was kind of odd but then again this is RICK SANTORUM we are talking about. Seems pretty consistent with what we've come to expect of him. Seems like a pretty shameless political ploy involving his ailing daughter if you ask me.

Is this (P)Rick's attempt to avoid how well his health care plan serves his daughter? Or, is it better to see how he can use her to serve the NRA, who, come to think about it, might do a little something for the moths coming out of his empty campaign wallet?

Santorum is a fucking looser.

I wouldn't be surprised Republicans fill out NRA papers for that child at the same time.
