For Big Companies.. Life Is Good..
"Big U.S. companies have emerged from the deepest recession since World War II more productive, more profitable, flush with cash and less burdened by debt....
snip Deep cost cutting during the downturn and caution during the recovery put the companies on firmer financial footing, helping them to outperform the rest of the economy and gather a greater share of the nation's income. The rebound is reflected in the stock market, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average at a four-year high. snip The performance hasn't translated into significant gains in U.S. employment. Many of the 1.1 million jobs the big companies added since 2007 were outside the U.S. So, too, was much of the $1.2 trillion added to corporate treasuries. Two-thirds of Apple Inc.'s AAPL -2.82% $82 billion in cash and marketable securities as of Sept. 30 was held by foreign subsidiaries, for example. There's more.. and none of it is good. Reading the WSJ is weird. They basically boast about screwing over the country. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702303815404577331660464739018.html

1. They have abused and worked their remaining employees to death...
|
Those lucky enough to hold a job... are forced to work 80 hours a week.. no overtime.. Sat and Sun... no lunch breaks, threats, bullying. No raises... reduced benefits, reduced work place safety.
The GOP and Teabags have nearly succeeded in their Koch Bros jihad to kill all remaining unions and keep employees from organizing or even communicating with each other. It doesn't matter what field you work in, (retail, transportation, education, health Care) everyone you talk to tells the same story. A group of emplyees were talking today at days end.. and the concensus of opinion was that this country.. the USA.. is in DIRE need of a total work stoppage strike from top to bottom.. to get the 1 percenter's attention. Corporate American knows that they can get away with anything these days and no one will stop them. The abuses are only going to get worse. |

3. Why have so few of us seen what has and is happening?
|
My experience is the same as yours. Everywhere I go it's the same, and yet here at any rate, most are stuck in a peasant mentality. "Yes, it sucks. No, it's not enough. Yes they are taking too much.", but after all that I still hear "Well I guess I'm just lucky to have anything".

4. The only way out of this is a total collapse. The alternative is serfdom for all.
|
And when serfdom sets in this time, there will never be a way out. At least until humanity goes extinct.

5. Charles & David Koch are the only people in this world who can accurately be called terrorists.
|
I'll repeat it every single time - the damage that they and their buddies have done to America and the rest of the world is unrepairable - and until they are arrested and tried for treason against the US - this will not stop.
