When I asked her why, she said the separatists were largely motivated by racism, and she was concerned what they would turn Scotland into.

I have no idea one way or another, but that was one Scottish person's opinion.

They are usually very, very accurate in predicting outcomes.

I've seen enough paper ballot stealing in my life time to know that when the scumbags are determined to win an election there is no system they can't corrupt.

is considered stolen by many among those who lose the election. It doesn't matter if it's paper or electronic.

which is usual for UK elections (one exception is Scottish local elections, which have a Single Transferable Vote system, which gets very complicated if done by hand - these are paper ballots that are scanned).

However, looking at all polls, it's too close to call.

The average odds for NO imply a 75% chance of a NO win.
Obviously this leaves the YES vote with an implied 25% chance of winning.

It will be interesting to see what happens if they vote yes- not just re the UK and Scotland but regarding other nationalism movements such as the Catalans and the Basque.

I really have no opinion one way or the other about Scotland.

Salmond wants to keep her. Anyway, it's genuinely hers! I don't think we'd get very far by confiscating private property...
