Watch the new trailer just released for the March 2012 movie version of "Game Change" with Ed Harris, Julianne Moore and Woody Harrelson.
Moore absolutely nails Palin better than Tina Fey.

(5,420 posts)I would enjoy it if it shows how stupid they are and makes fun of them, but still I would not want to put myself through all of that shit again just for a few laughs.

(59,501 posts)Not to mention the book concentrated on the negative things happening behind the scenes. Though Obama mostly escaped really negative themes, there is the brittle Clinton campaign - that caused the woman people thought the inevitable winner to lose, and there is the whole disgusting John Edwards' story - which this book actually had the chutzpah to partly blame on Elizabeth with stories, that if believed destroyed the dying woman's reputation.
Halperin has made books on both 2004 and 2008 that could best be called attack pieces on Democrats. In 2004, he actually praises Drudge creating a story out of thin air, while attacking Kerry, whose staff immediately corrected the story with the truth. (They had a fictitious story of Kerry paying $1000 for getting his hair styled and highlighted - truth that the salon verified - he had an unremarkable $75 hair cut. That shows his values - and those values chose what he opted to highlight from 2008.

I can't say I want to see it though. Too soon and nerves are too raw yet.

It was incumbent upon McGovern, though, to vet his choice for running mate before announcing him.
