Trayvon Martin shooter put photo of OSU hate crime on his website

George Zimmerman is either ignorant or supports hate crimes, said some at Ohio State University who had seen or heard about his website yesterday.

They reached those conclusions because of a photo on his fundraising website of the words Long Live Zimmerman that were spray-painted on a wall of OSU’s black cultural center on Thursday.

“It’s completely insensitive. It’s downright cold,” said Dieter Smiley, a 20-year-old industrial and systems engineering student at Ohio State. “I don’t know if he is ignorant or malicious, but there is no excuse for his actions either way.”

painting on a wall is not a hate crime. This doesn't make sense. robinlynne Apr 2012 #1

If you paint a swastika on a synagogue or Jewish community center, you can be charged in many states with a hate crime. The graffiti in question was written on an African American community center in Ohio.
