The Red Hot Chilie Peppers are giving a free concert here in Cleveland IF

you sign up to volunteer for president Obama's reelection bid.

They are doing this the day after the Peppers are inducted into the Rock Hall.

On a similar note, those people who attended a Polka Slam Down at the Polka Hall of Fame also located in Cleveland, will be let in free if they volunteer for the Romney Campaign.

My grandma used to put the polka hour on 6:00 every friday and saturday night and we would dance and jump up and down and laugh so hard we would pee our pants.

Frankie Yancovich was beloved in our household even though he was not a Pole.

One of the fondest memoried I have of my childhood....

Even in the 'Slovene style' that predominates, polka transcends ethnicity.
