when the Justices had respect for the Constitution and for their role in safeguarding our democracy. Today the right wing hacks on the Court make no attempt to hide their contempt for the Constitution or the other branches of government.

In my view their very actions warrant impeachment. A member of the judiciary is to be impartial. While I have no doubt that is and has always been nearly impossible to uphold, most previous Justices attempted to at least appear impartial. This band of merry bandits make no bones about who they represent on the court. They are no more partial than an Iranian court.

"Democrat", as in Democrat Party you know they've assimilated the right wing ideology and vocabulary. I met with an old friend several weeks ago I hadn't seen in several years (college roommate). She insisted she was centrist and said she voted for Obama, but everything that came out of her mouth sounded like it came straight from Fox, including inappropriate use of the word Democrat.

I suggest SCOTUS give POTUS a Mulligan. Maybe he could use his Medicare for All driver and hit a shot that is not out of bounds.

...on with their business when some of them - Clarence Thomas for one - should be impeached for his activities with the Koch brothers.

Dems should have "occupied" the Supreme Court in 2000 and again with Citizens United, but the party enables by not fighting back.

I'm now "unaffiliated" because Dems just don't get it.

I'd love to see some of them impeached as well.
Scalia is a disgrace to the office - how can he use ReTHUG talking points to refer to the Democratic Party. This should be the main discussion right now.

...instead of "Democratic" - they constantly enable by their quiet acceptance and by adopting what once were Republican positions instead of fighting for Democratic ones.

Let's face it, if Democratic leaders won't even talk about holding politicians accountable for war crimes or holding Wall Street accountable for economic crimes they're sure not going to talk about impeaching Supreme Court justices.

One party, two faces? Maybe that's what it's really all about.
