Well, our worst fears are realized, but Bush and Cheney will NEVER be prosecuted

we all know that, at least not while they are alive. At least while a LOT of people are still alive. It will take a generation to right the wrongs they caused. Those withut power have no voice today.

Sad that these men of power can tear down institutions with impunity, and the Administration we hold as our own will never move on those two.

Have a nice weekend.

1. Remember Pinochet, his army goons and others in Argentina

thought they would escape as well and many are now in prison.
The only way these men will pay is to OCCUPY every institution and let the rule of law prevail.

2. I'm with you malaise

Justice has caught up to many criminals who thought they would always get away with their crimes based on their perception that they were untouchable. Not all, but a good number have had to face their crimes in one way or another, even if it meant self-exile from their own country. And certainly history has many times set the records straight.

Adolf Eichmann thought he could live out his life in obscurity and did for many, many years. He ended up hanged like Saddam Hussein. Both were untouchable until they weren't.

There is always hope for justice, even many years later. And there's no reason for justice to be only a pursuit of the government. We can Occupy our justice system and use it without having to wait for the government to move on it. Even if we only bring a massive civil suit against Cheney and Bush, we will force them to have to spend time and mental anguish on defending themselves.

edited to change civil law suit to civil suit.

3. Good to see you over here :-)

Now that thats out of the way. Isn't cases like this what the ICC is all about. If a country can't, or won't prosecute such as this, due to our politics and the pukes, then the ICC steps in. If I understand it right they will give us ample time to deal with cases like this and then after a while if it is shown we won't or can't deal with it the court will. I believe Spain is working on this case right now and its only a matter of time before they demand that we turn these traitors over to them. I feel the day is coming that they will be tried for their war crimes, crimes against humanity etc..

Can you imagine the melt down the pukes would have had if cheney/bushco would have been arrested shortly after our first black President takes office, It would have caused another civil war, carnage at the least, and that is why we aren't dealing with these traitors and scum of the earth here.
Call me old fashioned but I believe in the rule of law.

8. Yes but it gets in the way of a good mad on for the President :-)

I love our President and think he is doing as well or better as can be expected due to the circumstances. Circumstances being the anti-american puke party.
I have his back

I'm still waiting to see if Cheney returns the toys to Whoville now that he has a heart.
