I admire that these kids from Central America still want to come to the USA despite the fact...

that our country seems to be packed with racists.

5. One of the communities near us has changed demographics in the last years from all white to both

white and Central American persons. I do not spend enough time to know if equality is a problem but I do see a reason they would still come to the USA. Many own homes, nice cars, have relatively good jobs and are building their own community businesses. Their children go to good schools and no one is shooting at them.

I will admit I do not know the whole story but from the outside they look like they are doing exactly what our ancestors did - getting ahead.

3. All this "do it for the children!" talk sounds racist to me, when you consider how about 1/4 of

US born children live. It sounds like "Do it for THESE children (even though you don't bother with those OTHER children."

6. The people who live here take it for granted and overstate our problems.

We are a beacon of light in a world of darkness.

Many dream of a life in America while spoiled people here discuss which utopia in Europe they'd rather live in.
