I don't know about anyone else but I'm getting tired of the Russia conflict being

The main story on MSNBC especially on Rachel and Hayes shows.Hayes spent 34 minutes on the Russian plane incident. You would think with the DC Circuit Court ruling on the ACA that would be the main story. Is the plane being shot down important sure it is but damn!!! there getting over board with all the Putin is a mad man. It's not even about the plane anymore it's all about Putin Putin.

To be honest I buy into the story about pilot suicide.

I don't see conspiracy in that action, but you are right we may never really know.

before going back to whatever you were doing.

practically it means nothing at the moment because no one's changing the subsidies until the supreme court rules on the matter. so in terms of "news" it's the supreme court that's the big story. this is merely a small step in the path toward that big story.

and even then, i very much think that will be a non-story as well, as i find it hard to believe that the supreme court will buy into the ridiculous "haha gotcha" line of legal reasoning that says the government should subsidize people unequally based on whether or not it's a state-run or federal-run exchange because poor legal drafting.

War propaganda is part of the package.

They are *all* totally embedded, else they wouldn't have a job in the US MSM.
That's the price paid for allowing such total consolidation, monopolization of economic power -- and for going along with the result by trying to support the "least of the evils" offered up by the machine (as in "but I watch MSNBC, not FOX, so I'm OK!!).

most part, it's propaganda just like the other networks. Most people don't have any trustworthy news in their cable packages. There's a reason why they call it "programming."

war with Iraq, that is what our media is for. The first step is to identify the enemy, back then it was Saddam. You have to get the people ready for war. We've seen it all before, haven't we. And even so, people who should know better are falling for it.

The coverage of all of the recent events reminds me of the lead-up to the Iraq War. I wonder when we're going to have another disaster here in America. I see something coming soon. The difference is, I think people are looking at all of this with a jaundiced eye this time. America isn't going to be so easily manipulated this time, I think.

died on that plane, and it is being so blatantly used for political purposes. I don't watch the MSM I remember feeling the same way back then. They don't really care what we think, I believe you are right, it will be a bit tougher this time. I went to read some of the Right Wing sites, they were fully on board last time. Now they seem confused, they WANT to support a war with Russia, after all the 'commies' are their obsession, but what are they to do, Democrats are in the WH this time, it blows all their theories about Republicans and Democrats. They haven't figured it all out yet. I'm sure we will be seeing the War Criminals called to the MSM for their 'expert' advice, and that will soothe any conflicts they have.

I can only hope that there are wiser people who can stop any thoughts of starting WW111, but I hope for that back then also. And we all know what a pipe dream that was.

just sitting there. He seems to be baiting the Western nations into rushing into what would be a devastating war for Europe and this country. Lots of war mongers in Russia, lots of them here too only too willing to oblige.

btw, dredging up the old 'lefties are commies' nonsense doesn't score many points here. We are more than familiar with that particular kind of McCarthyite propaganda. Assuming that is what you intended.

12. Rachel just reported on the ACA ruling
Tue Jul 22, 2014, 09:41 PM
Jul 2014

She talked about both Circuit rulings. It was brief but she touched on it and said there is more to come over the next few days

It isn't the main story but will be one soon... most likely. It broke today and is up against two huge events that are being updated constantly.

Personally I was glad that Hayes had on the correspondent who was upset about the imbalance of reporting on the Gaza situation. She made her case that there should be more Palestinian voices in the MSM.
Rachel was covering several aspects of the plane, including that there are only reportedly 200 bodies on the train for transport and that part of the plane was sawed in half.
